Novice hurdle winner for Tom George 3 years ago and proved he retains ability on return for new yard in similar event over 2m here last month. Down 3 lb and stiffer test will suit. Player.
Plenty of good efforts over hurdles, including when shaping well on return at Exeter. Has the size to think he'll do well over fences and should stay. This could be a decent opening.
Bumper winner who took a step back in the right direction over fences on return when third in 2m Ffos Las handicap. Second won next time and he's respected up in trip.
Struggled over hurdles last term but quickly switches to chasing and hard to ignore given cracking pedigree (half-brother to yard's star Irish Cavalier from family of Make A Stand). Cheekpieces go on.
Point winner who has an air of unfinished business about him over fences (might have won this last year if standing up, shaped well again over C&D on return). Not so good latest but could bounce back.
Bangor handicap hurdle winner over this trip in the mud in May and ran well behind improver on chase debut there 6 weeks ago. Should improve.
Placed 3 times in 2m handicap hurdles and again on chase debut at Ffos Las (2m, heavy) 6 weeks ago, the way he was finishing off suggesting he should stay this longer trip.
Fortunate as he opened his account in similar event over further here a fortnight ago, mistakes and held when left in front 2 out. Pretty easy to take on in this company.
Dual winner in handicap hurdles at around this trip. Not seen to best effect on second go over fences at Worcester (23f) in the summer and down another 4 lb here. Wouldn't rule out.
Still without a win but deserves credit for his consistency, placed last 5 starts in handicap chases last season. Has had a wind op since last seen.
Poor maiden chaser who showed nothing on return to Rules for this yard at Uttoxeter 5 weeks ago.

Haldon Hill (2/1), On The Platform (3/1), Jobesgreen Lad (4/1), Ambion Hill (13/2), Henri Le Bon (14/1), Cobra Commander (16/1), Family Pot (20/1), Massini Man (22/1), Fiddlers Tracker (22/1), Diamond Rose (25/1), Muse Of Fire (25/1), Family Man (150/1), Right Royals Day (200/1)
This could be a good starting point over fences for AMBION HILL. He made a pleasing return in a big-field handicap hurdle at Exeter, seeing things out better than has sometimes been the case, and has the size to think he'll make a better chaser. John Groucott has a strong hand, On The Platform and Massini Man looking his aces, while Diamond Rose is one to note at likely bigger odds.
