Adrimel^t²³⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: J J Burke| T: T Lacey| OR: 139

10/3

Useful bumper winner who won his first 3 starts over hurdles, including Warwick Grade 2 in gutsy fashion (2m5f) in January. Pulled up in Grade 1s at Cheltenham/Aintree after but will make a chaser.

Boothill³⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: H Fry| OR: 135| BF

5/6

Looked good when winning a bumper/novice hurdle and shaped with plenty of promise forced into handicap company with little experience when third at Ascot on return. Remains with potential now chasing.

Form: 221/1-3

Champagnesuperover^t²⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Adrian Heskin| T: O Murphy| OR: 133

15/2

Useful winning hurdler but pulled up in Sefton Novices' Hurdle at Aintree. Not disgraced in deep over an inadequate trip on chase bow at Carlisle on return and he will improve on that.

Form: 4127P-6

Elixir De Nutz^t1¹⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: Brendan Powell| T: C L Tizzard| OR: 137

12/1

Smart hurdler at best but clearly had more than his share of issues of late and efforts over fences 11 months apart hardly brimming with promise. Tongue tie on.

Form: 1177/2-4

Gladiateur Allen¹³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Chester Williams| T: Mrs J Williams| OR: 126

13/2

Ascot novice winner last term and third in EBF Final at Sandown in March. Unable to continue the good work over hurdles during the autumn but drop from 3m will help now chasing.

Form: 3163-38

Flowing Cadenza^t²⁴⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 10-9| J: James Best| T: R H Buckler| OR: 100

200/1

Pulled up on chase bow and she's nowhere near this level.

Form: P/P335P-

Forecasts

Boothill (5/6), Adrimel (10/3), Gladiateur Allen (13/2), Champagnesuperover (15/2), Elixir De Nutz (12/1), Flowing Cadenza (200/1)

A cracking race in prospect with the narrow vote going to BOOTHILL given he retains plenty of potential on just his fourth start under Rules, while he's very much the type to make a chaser. Adrimel was of similar merit to the selection over hurdles and is built to excel over the larger obstacles, with Champagnesuperover also of interest for his in-form yard.
