Promising sort. High-class winner at 21f over hurdles. 6/4, second of 11 in novice chase at Down Royal (19.6f, soft) on debut over fences 30 days ago, sticking to task. Likely to do better.
Enhanced his excellent start over fences with victory in 7-runner Gr 3 chase at Cork (20f, heavy) last month. Had winning run ended in Grade 2 last time but every chance of getting back on track here.
Smart hurdler who made a promising chasing debut when 2¼ lengths second of 14 to Gabynako in novice chase (4/1) at this course (21f, good to soft) 19 days ago, staying on well. Should improve.
Promising sort. Didn't need to improve to win 14-runner novice chase at this course (21f, good to soft, 6/4) 19 days ago by 2¼ lengths from Fury Road, responding well. Should have more to offer.
Rapid improver over hurdles at start of year, easily winning 21f Thurles Grade 2 novice in February. In the process of running to a similar level on his chasing debut when departing late so respected.
Promising sort. 7/1, career best when winning 11-runner novice chase at Down Royal (19.6f, soft) on debut over fences 30 days ago by 2¾ lengths from Beacon Edge, well on top finish. More to come.
Useful chaser. 4/1, ran well back over fences after 7 months off when 2½ lengths fourth of 14 to Gabynako in novice chase at this course (21f, good to soft) 19 days ago. May step up from that here.
Fairly useful chaser. 1 win from 3 runs this season. 7/2, career best when winning 10-runner novice chase at Galway (18.2f, heavy) 36 days ago, finding plenty. Should progress but other preferred.

Forecasts
Lifetime Ambition (3/1), Beacon Edge (7/2), Cape Gentleman (7/2), Gabynako (5/1), Fury Road (17/2), Grand Paradis (9/1), Midnight Run (14/1), Bleu Berry (20/1), Fire Attack (20/1), Global Equity (40/1)
Several in with a shout but CAPE GENTLEMAN has made a superb start over fences and Emmet Mullins' charge is taken to regain the winning thread having lost his unbeaten record in this sphere at Punchestown just over a fortnight ago. Gabynako has quickly developed into a better chaser than hurdler so he's fancied to give the selection most to think about, ahead of Lifetime Ambition and Fury Road.
