Visored for 1st time, won 13-runner handicap (25/1) at this C&D 14 days ago by head from Billy Roberts. Suspect he'll do well to follow up off 3 lb higher given his profile.

Didn't need to improve to win 13-runner handicap (11/2) at this course (8.6f) 14 days ago, always holding on. Rated higher in the past and could go well again.

Forecasts

Invincible Soldier (9/4), Light Up Our Stars (9/2), Billy Roberts (13/2), Like Sugar (7/1), Ricksen (8/1), Gold Souk (17/2), Tio Mio (10/1), Nuble (20/1), Boy In The Bar (22/1), Gold Standard (33/1), Astronomic Choice (40/1), Her Way (50/1), Arsonist (80/1)

Verdict

INVINCIBLE SOLDIER is usually well found in the betting and wasn't disgraced behind Gold Souk here last time. He's worth chancing again with Adam Kirby back in the saddle. It's a competitive handicap though, with Light Up Our Stars and Ricksen closely matched on their latest runs here, and Billy Roberts also fancied.

  1. INVINCIBLE SOLDIER (IRE)
  2. LIGHT UP OUR STARS (IRE)
  3. RICKSEN
