Castle Robin^t²⁸⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-3| J: Paul O'Brien| T: C E Longsdon| OR: 128| D

4/1

Progressive over hurdles, winning twice at up to 21f. Ended last campaign with a respectable third in a Grade 2 over 3m in January and interesting now chasing on return (point winner).

Form: 311263-

Adicci²¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: K Brogan⁽³⁾| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 127

6/1

Fairly useful hurdles winner who ended last season with pair of runners-up efforts at up to 21.3f. Possible last month's Fontwell return was needed and better showing not ruled out now chasing.

Form: 0/1422-6

Bobhopeornohope^t1¹⁸⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: David Bass| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls| OR: 126| C| DWS

11/2

Low-mileage hurdler (successful twice) but pulled up on last 2 starts, latterly at Ffos Las in May. Absent since but landed sole start between flags and goes chasing now on back of wind op.

Form: 35/11P-P

Slipway²⁴²

Age: 6| Weight: 10-13| J: N de Boinville| T: B Pauling| OR: 124| BF

11/1

Went right way without winning over hurdles last season, best effort when runner-up in a Hereford maiden (25.5f) in February. Brought down final start but not discounted now chasing.

Form: 7/432B-

Buckhorn George²⁴⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: Brendan Powell| T: C L Tizzard| OR: 123

9/1

Maiden hurdle winner who was placed 3 times from this sort of mark over timber last winter. Ended campaign out of sorts but returns with stable in much better groove. Chase debut.

Form: 29225P-

Champagne Rhythm¹⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 10-11| J: Adam Wedge| T: Evan Williams| OR: 122

28/1

Promise in bumpers and fairly useful form over hurdles, landing Chepstow maiden (19.5f) in February. Never featured on return/chase debut in October though, and this should reveal more.

Form: 22231-5

Story Of Friends^p²²

Age: 7| Weight: 10-7| J: T Scudamore| T: D Pipe| OR: 118| C| D

20/1

Won at Newton Abbot last season but hasn't been in same form following a short break of late, well held fifth over hurdles here last month. Another now tackling larger obstacles.

Form: 0-27565

Moroder²⁴⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 10-6| J: James Best| T: J W Mullins| OR: 117

8/1

Pulled up on chasing bow at Fontwell 12 months ago but improved back over hurdles thereafter, successful at Fakenham (23.4f) prior to a good second at Plumpton in March. May do better back over fences

Form: 23/P212-

Forecasts

Lord Accord (5/2), Castle Robin (4/1), Bobhopeornohope (11/2), Adicci (6/1), Moroder (8/1), Buckhorn George (9/1), Slipway (11/1), Story Of Friends (20/1), Champagne Rhythm (28/1)

LORD ACCORD was progressive over hurdles and made the perfect start over fences when getting on top late in the day on chase debut at Uttoxeter last month. He looks sure to be suited by the return to this longer trip and looks sure to go well again. Castle Robin and Bobhopeornohope, making their respective chase debuts, are others to consider in an interesting affair.
