Winner at Wolverhampton in July. Creditable third of 10 in handicap (13/2) there (14f) 8 days ago, nearest finish. Should make his presence felt.
C&D winner. 2 lengths sixth of 7 to Victoriano in handicap at this C&D (20/1) 18 days ago. Not handicapped out of things by any means, but others preferred all the same.
Three wins from 12 runs this year, the latest at Catterick in October. Good second of 12 in handicap back there (12.1f, soft, 7/2) 14 days ago. Significantly up in trip and he's a leading candidate.
Tenth of 11 in handicap (40/1) at Wolverhampton (12.2f) 22 days ago. Significantly back up in trip and would be a threat if able to bounce back given that he's now 5 lb below last winning mark.
Below form when fourth of 9 in minor event at this course (12.4f, 7/1) 15 days ago. Significantly up in trip and while he's far from exposed, others make greater appeal.
7/1, didn't need to improve to win 7-runner handicap at this C&D 18 days ago, better placed than most. Nudged up just 1 lb and should again have a part to play.
Last of 12 in handicap (66/1) at this C&D 28 days ago, slowly away. 0-13 on the AW and this 9-y-o is readily passed over.
Cheekpieces on for 1st time, respectable fifth of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f, 5/1) 50 days ago, not ideally placed. Possibilities on first run for yard after leaving Richard Hughes.
Lightly-raced maiden. Last of 9 in handicap (18/1) at Redcar (14f, good to firm) 38 days ago. Probably best to look elsewhere.

Forecasts
Lord Torranaga (2/1), Victoriano (9/4), Chipiron (9/2), Mukha Magic (10/1), Manjaam (12/1), Stockbridge Tap (14/1), Riggsby (20/1), Romulan Prince (40/1), Wemyss Point (50/1)
This trip should be within LORD TORRANAGA's range and he looks the most solid of these, for all that he has yet to strike off a mark this high. The 6-y-o was a thoroughly decisive winner of his latest start on the all-weather at Southwell in August and has subsequently continued the good work on turf. Chipiron is next on the list, while Mukha Magic is dangerous to discount off a reduced mark.
- LORD TORRANAGA (FR)
- CHIPIRON (FR)
- MUKHA MAGIC
