Fairly useful chaser at his best who regained winning thread at Fakenham (3m) in March. However, proved most disappointing last 3 starts during May/June and break needs to have perked him up.
Ex-pointer who progressed gradually in maiden hurdles. Never kicked on in handicaps thereafter and he'll need to step up on his return/chase debut effort in September to feature here.
7-y-o who upped his game over fences last season, adding second career success to the tally at Leicester (22.7f) in March. Final start best overlooked and not discounted on return to action.
Winning pointer who showed ability during 2019/20 campaign. Pulled up final 2 starts for Charlie Mann last winter but returns with new yard very much amongst the winners. One to note in betting.
Three-time winner over fences who found only one too good for fourth successive start at Market Rasen (27.5f) in May. Mark has crept back up a little more but good showing not ruled out.
Hurdles winner who opened chase account at Fakenham (21.2f) in January. Below best at Plumpton final start and he needs to leave his return over hurdles for new stable if he's to feature here.
Better for the switch to chasing last year, again seemingly tapped for toe when fourth at Sedgefield (26.2f) in November, making late headway. Still early days and good showing not ruled out.
Fairly useful 3m maiden hurdler in 2018 but last season's efforts were well below par, and he's not threatened in pair of chase tries 8 months apart. More needed despite sliding mark.
Limited impact over hurdles but better for chase debut effort when runner-up at Huntingdon (23.6f) in March. Room for some improvement in his jumping but still low mileage and respected.
Well held in handful of starts for Christian Williams last season and, whilst prominent in betting he offered little on handicap chase bow for new yard at Stratford last month. This will reveal more.
Maiden hurdle winner in December 2019 but has shown nothing otherwise, pulled up on the back of 7 weeks off over fences at Worcester (23f) in June.

HOOT AT MIDNIGHT remains a maiden but her consistency has been hard to knock over fences this summer and she could well be the answer in a tricky-looking contest. Don Herbager on return to action is another to consider, along with Alright Chief and Robaddan who demands a market check on debut for Ben Pauling.
