Resumed winning ways when bagging a 9-runner handicap chase at Huntingdon (2½m, good) in May. Runner-up on 2 of his 3 subsequent starts and another bold show on the cards.
Successful twice in this sphere last term, including over 3m at this course, and runner-up on a couple of occasions over hurdles. However, bit to prove on the back of a poor reappearance effort here.
Record stands at 0-16 (hurdles and fences) following a tame display at Worcester when last seen in July (reportedly had irregular heartbeat). Best to look elsewhere.
Hurdles winner who left previous chase form a long way behind when striking at Worcester (2½m, good) in June. Resumes on a 7 lb higher mark, but he may well have more to offer in this sphere.
Four-time chase winner, including over this C&D, but needs to bounce back in a major way following a thoroughly underwhelming campaign last season.
Winner of just one of his 17 hurdles starts and while he made an encouraging start over fences when third at Stratford in May, the 7-y-o failed to build on that next time.
Fair efforts in a couple of bumpers, but he didn't cut much ice in handful of starts over hurdles and needs to raise his game now tackling fences. Tongue strap added.
Pieced it all together when hitting the target at Chepstow and Hexham in March. Probably needed the run when third on reappearance at Fontwell and he's not discounted with Nick Scholfield booked.
Successful in an Irish point in May, but hasn't shown much under Rules since and needs to take a big step forward now switched to fences.
Poor maiden chaser who is hard to recommend starting out for new yard on the back of a lengthy absence.
Just the one success to his name from 81 career starts (Flat and jumps) and looks set for another struggle.

Forecasts
Joly Maker (10/3), Rostello (5/1), Imperial Esprit (11/2), Nefyn Point (11/2), Maasai Warrior (8/1), Tudors Treasure (8/1), Light Flicker (17/2), Caro Des Flos (9/1), Croagh Patrick (12/1), Glance Back (16/1), Right Royals Day (80/1), L'Es Fremantle (100/1)
CARO DES FLOS was well on top at the finish when opening his chase account at Worcester in June and this 7 lb higher mark may well be within reach. He is marginally preferred to Joly Maker, who was just touched off at Bangor last month and Kevin Brogan's 3 lb claim will again prove valuable. Tudors Treasure and Maasai Warrior are others to consider, in that order of preference.
