A very interesting maiden chase. BEACON EDGE, Grand Paradis and Vanillier all have the potential to take high rank among this season's novice chasers. Gordon Elliott has dominated this race in recent years so Grand Paradis isn't opposed lightly but Beacon Edge developed into a very classy hurdler last term so he's narrowly preferred.
