Modest hurdler for Philip Hobbs who would be a shock winner on this belated Flat debut for a new stable.
Fair bumper winner who showed a similar level of form over hurdles in 2019. Off 22 months before finishing sixth of 7 on his Ascot Flat debut 26 days ago. May come on for the run.
Novice hurdle winner during time with Paul Nicholls. Could only manage fifth of 7 in Huntingdon novice handicap chase on recent yard debut after 7 months off. Likely outsider now switching to Flat.
Good bumper performer in 2019/20, including a Kempton listed win. Bit disappointing over hurdles last season but no surprise were she up to making an impact in a race like this. Has had wind op.
Fair form at best and suspicion he'll be vulnerable here unless improving for the longer trip.
French Fifteen gelding. Dam maiden (stayed 17f). Newcomer from a decent yard so worth a betting check.
Modest form in a couple of starts in the summer but clearly early days for this well-bred filly in good yards and she could improve back from a break.
Fairly useful and consistent maiden who performed with credit in a useful Newmarket handicap last month. This trip should be within range and perhaps this can finally be her day.
Ran to a fair level when fifth on her Kempton debut in August but went backwards from that when last of 7 (Swagman sixth) at Ascot 2 months later. Clearly early days, though.
Promising sort who showed plenty to work on when fourth in a decent Yarmouth maiden on debut in May but she does need to shrug off a poor comeback run at Kempton this month.

Forecasts
Mellow Magic (1/1), Coquelicot (13/8), The Swagman (12/1), Swiss Mistress (14/1), Robert Hooke (20/1), Cuban Sands (20/1), Mount Olympus (33/1), Zyon (50/1), Nell The Thief (66/1), Presuming Ed (150/1)
MELLOW MAGIC has had a few chances now but her consistency can't be knocked and she's certainly the one to beat here. Swiss Mistress performed disappointingly back from a break on AW earlier in the month so it could be that the chief threat comes from Coquelicot, who was a very useful 3-time bumper winner in early-2020.
- MELLOW MAGIC
- COQUELICOT (FR)
- SWISS MISTRESS (IRE)
