Won on Curragh debut. 20/1, looked green when 6¾ lengths sixth of 8 to Native Trail in Dewhurst at Newmarket (7f, good to soft) last weekend. That experience shouldn't have been lost on him.

Forecasts

Homeless Songs (6/4), New Energy (7/2), Glounthaune (5/1), Boundless Ocean (11/2), Confident Star (11/1), The Acropolis (18/1), Howth (18/1), Jack Rose (20/1), Pennine Hills (28/1), I Am Magic (66/1)

Verdict

The fact that HOMELESS SONGS went off as short as 9/4 in a Group 1 on her second start suggests she's highly regarded by the Weld team. She has Colin Keane taking over in the saddle for the first time now and is narrowly preferred to Glounthaune, who could have derived plenty of benefit from his run in the Dewhurst last Saturday. Debut winner New Energy may prove best of the rest.
