Kempton jumpers bumper winner in February and produced much his best effort over hurdles when second to Orchard Grove in a Newton Abbot handicap (16.8f) in April. Each-way chance if ready to roll.
Opened hurdles account when outpointing Floy Joy at Newton Abbot in April. Further progress with victories at Stratford and over this C&D the last twice, and another bold show is anticipated.
Regained the winning thread when narrowly landing a Southwell handicap hurdle (15.8f) in June. Not in anything like the same form next 2 starts (over fences last time) and he's passed over here.
Flat winner who was a good second in 2m Southwell novice in July. Has failed to build on that in 2 subsequent starts, but one to consider all the same now handicapping in first-time blinkers.
Little impact in 7 starts since joining this yard and it's best to look elsewhere.
Hit the target off an 8 lb higher mark in this race last year, but it's been all downhill since and hopes pinned on recent wind op helping to trigger a revival.
Fairly useful hurdler/chaser for Dan Skelton at his best, but recent return/debut for new yard at Worcester was hardly inspiring. Now tried in cheekpieces.
Fair fourth on handicap bow in this sphere at Market Rasen last November and well worth a second look in the betting back from 10 months off (has undergone a wind op). Tongue strap applied.
Notched third Flat win in April and runner-up in 2m Worcester handicap hurdle in June. However, subsequently gelded and he has followed that with a couple of low-key performances.
Yet to make an impact in various race-types and hopes very much pinned on the first-time hood sparking improvement now pitched into a handicap in this sphere.
No impact in 7 starts over hurdles on the other side of the Irish Sea and she's hard to warm to.
Well held in a bumper and maiden/novice hurdles. Big step forward needed now that he ventures down the handicap route.
Fairly useful on the Flat for Michael Bell and bettered his 2 previous hurdles starts when fourth in a Market Rasen juvenile last month. Fitting of cheekpieces may help on handicap bow in this sphere.
Almost landed a gamble on second start in handicap company when going close over this C&D 12 days ago. Will be a danger to all off the same mark if able to build on that much-improved effort.
Fairly useful form when winning a 1¼m novice on the Flat last summer, but will need to better what he's shown over hurdles to date if he's to emerge on top here.

Forecasts
Orchard Grove (11/4), Early Morning Dew (16/5), Floy Joy (11/2), Crane (13/2), Lonimoss Bareliere (10/1), Balzac (10/1), The Garrison (12/1), Ranco (14/1), Phoebus Lescribaa (33/1), Splinter (33/1), Peggyclare (50/1), Myburg (66/1), Canford Star (125/1), Falcon Sun (125/1), He's A Goer (150/1)
Providing that his recent C&D near miss was no flash in the pan, EARLY MORNING DEW could be the answer. The way the 5-y-o travelled through the race that day was eye-catching and he's 3 lb 'well-in' off the same mark. There's a chance that Crane will benefit from the fitting of cheekpieces and he merits respect, but the hat-trick seeking Orchard Grove is feared most. Splinter also has claims.
- EARLY MORNING DEW (FR)
- ORCHARD GROVE (IRE)
- CRANE (IRE)
