Yet to get his head in front but failed by a narrow margin at Cartmel (17.2f). Possibly amiss next time so could be worth another chance.
Regained winning thread at Market Rasen but mixed record on the Flat since. Possibilities back over timber.
Modest on Flat/over hurdles in Ireland for Henry de Bromhead. Down the field both starts for this yard so far, albeit not disgraced. More needed.
Hit a real purple patch in the spring, winning over C&D and Newcastle. However, well held last 2 starts 4 months apart. Cheekpieces back on.
Lightly-raced maiden hurdler. Below form on the Flat and back over hurdles last 3 starts.
Fair Flat winner for John Quinn and improved third of 13 in a Kelso novice (16.2f, good) on fourth start over hurdles in May. However, well held in handicaps both starts since.
Runner-up in a point. Off 14 months, ran his most encouraging race under Rules when third in a 2m Worcester maiden hurdle but disappointed next time. Opening mark looks high enough on form shown.
Fair hurdler at his best who has got right back on track since the visor went on, landing handicaps at Sedgefield and Kelso before good third at former track. Still looks competitively weighted.
Belatedly gained a second career success at Market Rasen in August and similar form in hitting the frame next 3 starts, runner-up there latest. Can make presence felt again.
Scored at Sedgefield in May but his recent form is far less encouraging. More is needed from the veteran.

Forecasts
Near Kettering (5/2), Universal Folly (7/2), Strong Team (5/1), Grand Enterprise (11/2), Steinkraus (9/1), Old Jewry (11/1), En Couleur (14/1), Snowed In (28/1), Soloheadbeg (28/1), My Macho Man (33/1)
STRONG TEAM failed to complete the hat-trick at Sedgefield last time but it was still a good effort to finish third and he remains on a fair mark. Grand Enterprise is the only other one who arrives in good form so rates the main threat ahead of Near Kettering and Universal Folly.
- STRONG TEAM (IRE)
- GRAND ENTERPRISE
- NEAR KETTERING
