Holy Roman Emperor colt who shaped as if in need of the experience when last of 8 in a Yarmouth maiden (1m) last month, running green under pressure. Entitled to do better in time.
Bred to do better in time but hard to enthuse about here having finished well held in novice/maiden events at up to 1m in recent weeks.
Foaled February 18. Kingman half-brother to 2 winners, including 1½m winner Punctuation. Dam unraced half-sister to top-class 7f-1½m winner Kalanisi. Interesting newcomer who is worth a second look.
Foaled March 5. 110,000 gns yearling, Sea The Moon brother to very smart French/German winner up to 1½m Quest The Moon. Makes obvious appeal on paper for leading yard and one to note here.
Iffraaj colt who made a promising start when third of 7 in Haydock novice (1m) in September. Softer ground may not have been ideal at Hamilton next time and he remains with potential moving forward.
£10,000 yearling, Free Eagle gelding. Sent off at 125/1 and didn't offer any short-term encouragement when ninth of 10 in an Ayr minor event on debut last month. Likely one for handicaps later on.
Foaled February 6. Lope De Vega colt. Half-brother to 10.3f-1½m winner Skytree. Dam, 2-y-o 7f winner who stayed 1½m. Represents powerful yard and the betting should prove a useful guide on debut.
Foaled April 3. 75,000 gns yearling, Aclaim half-brother to winner up to 7f Gravity Force. Dam lightly raced out of useful 2-y-o 7f winner Gemini Gold. Betting should reveal some clues ahead of debut.

Deauville Legend (5/2), Medyaf (3/1), Qitaal (4/1), Wilkins (5/1), Duty Bound (6/1), Windseeker (16/1), Caesar's Palace (33/1), Captain Kane (200/1), Rebel Army (250/1)
MEDYAF makes plenty of appeal on paper as a brother to very smart French/German winner up to 1½m Quest The Moon and, representing powerful connections, he could be the way to go on debut without the benefit of market clues. Fellow newcomer Duty Bound is also worth a second look. Qitaal and Deauville Legend can do best of those with previous experience.
