9/4

Form: 2

Old Dixie

Age: 3| Weight: 9-5| J: T Eaves| T: K A Ryan

25/1

$100,000 yearling, Union Rags gelding. Dam placed at 6f-7f in US, half-sister to very smart US Grade 3 8.5f winner Grasshopper. Makes a belated debut but interesting all the same.

Form:

(3)

Originator⁴⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-5| J: Dane O'Neill| T: M P Tregoning

7/1

13/2, third of 6 in maiden at Ffos Las (8f, good) on debut 46 days ago, showing plenty in front. From a good family and should improve.

Form: 3

(5)

Substantial³⁴⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 9-5| J: Cieren Fallon| T: W J Haggas

11/8

12/1, sixth of 13 in novice at Newmarket (7f, heavy) on debut a year ago, very much getting the hang of things late on. That form isn't great but he should improve if all is well.

Form: 6-

(1)

Blue Artemis³¹⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-0| J: P Mulrennan| T: J R Fanshawe

50/1

Green both starts at the end of last year, showing a bit more at Lingfield second time. Might need this.

Form: 07-

(6)

Enhimaar

Age: 3| Weight: 9-0| J: Cam Hardie| T: Mrs Stella Barclay

150/1

1,500 gns 3-y-o, Dark Angel filly. Dam lightly-raced sister to smart 7f winner Muwaary. Tricky to fancy first time up.

Form:

(4)

Larllunna

Age: 3| Weight: 9-0| J: Harry Russell⁽³⁾| T: B Ellison

125/1

£2,500 yearling, Havana Gold filly. Half-sister to winner up to 1¼m Gerrard's Return and 6f winner Invisible Storm. Dam 2-y-o 5f winner. Mixed pedigree and probably best watched first time up.

Form:

(8)

Top Table¹⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 9-0| J: P J McDonald| T: J & T Gosden| BF

10/3

Shaped well in an interesting-looking race on debut at Chelmsford then not seen to best effect in messy 5-runner maiden at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 10 days ago. Surely has more to offer.

Form: 32

Forecasts

Substantial (11/8), Baltic Coast (9/4), Top Table (10/3), Originator (7/1), Old Dixie (25/1), Blue Artemis (50/1), Larllunna (125/1), Enhimaar (150/1)

There is surely more to come from TOP TABLE and she can open her account at the third time of asking in the hope she's seen to better effect than she was in a messy race at Wolverhampton. Originator and Baltic Coast can progress, while Old Dixie is the pick of the newcomers.
