TOMFRE did well under the circumstances when fifth in a valuable Ascot handicap 10 days ago and he is taken to repeat his 2020 success in this race, despite being 9 lb higher this time round. If the ground remains on the slow side, all the better for Ralph Beckett's charge. Motawaajed merits respect, but Asad and Able Kane may emerge as the main dangers. Persuasion also needs a second look.
