Good strike rate over hurdles (5-11), but winless following 10 attempts in this sphere, pulling up at Uttoxeter last month.
Fair bumper winner who got off the mark over fences in a big-field handicap at Worcester in July. Unseated early at Uttoxeter sole start since. Needs considering.
Excellent record here last season, winning 3 times, the final success coming over this trip in April. No great record fresh but can't be ruled out at a venue which clearly suits.
Triple chase winner in 2018/19 but more miss than hit despite sliding mark over fences for Nick Williams last term. Ran poorly over hurdles for new yard in April. Break needs to have perked him up.
Made every post a winning one when seeing off 2 rivals on second start over fences at Newton Abbot (3¼m) in July. Even better form when runner-up last twice (C&D latterly) and should go well again.
Second in handicap hurdle off 14 lb higher last November. Failed to reproduce that since, including in 4 chases, but he's had wind surgery since last seen in July and returns with his yard in form.
Hasn't been seeing his races out of late but his handicap mark continues to fall (dropped 7 lb after last run) and certainly wouldn't be a shock to see him revive under Brian Hughes.
Poor maiden chaser but he was third over C&D in May and ran another solid race when second at Market Rasen last month. Is 4 lb out of the weights here, though.

Forecasts
Achy Breaky Heart (6/4), Maxi Jazz (9/2), Et Apres Thou (5/1), Lord Sparky (11/2), Rintulla (8/1), Miami Present (11/1), Night Of Sin (25/1), Notnow Seamus (50/1)
With the Philip Hobbs team in such good form a chance is taken on ET APRES THOU who is well handicapped on his peak hurdle exploits and it's possible a wind operation since last seen will have benefited him. Achy Breaky Heart arrives at the top of her game and should go well again, while Rintulla was successful on his latest completed start so also has to enter the reckoning.
