Unreliable sort. C&D winner. Twenty one runs since last win in 2019. 15/2, one of better efforts when third of 7 in handicap at this C&D (good to soft) 30 days ago. Needs to back that up here.

9/1

Below form when eighth of 10 in handicap (12/1) at Ayr (8f, good to firm) 25 days ago, unable to get to the front. A repeat of his penultimate showing would see him go close.

Eligible²⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 9-4| J: Ben Robinson| T: M & D Easterby| OR: 69| BF

11/1

Twelve runs since last win in 2019. Possibly found race coming too soon when ninth of 10 in handicap (3/1) at Ayr (8f, good to firm) 25 days ago. Can bounce back.

Form: 7-34829

(5)

Distinction²⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 8-12| J: Harrison Shaw| T: K R Burke| OR: 65| D

11/2

Form: 551220

(10)

Iris Dancer¹⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 8-9| J: Phil Dennis| T: T Davidson| OR: 62

11/1

9/2, respectable fourth of 10 in handicap at York (6f, good) 17 days ago, late headway having found herself a bit too far back. Not taken lightly.

Form: 322254

(9)

Kats Bob^p¹³

Age: 3| Weight: 8-9| J: A Mullen| T: I Jardine| OR: 62| D

6/1

Tricky customer but responded well to this headgear when winning 10-runner handicap at Ayr (7.2f, good to soft) 13 days ago, just holding on. Will need to improve again but can.

Form: 656221

Forecasts

Legal Reform (9/2), Distinction (11/2), Kats Bob (6/1), King's Pavilion (7/1), End Zone (7/1), Diamond Haze (9/1), Iris Dancer (11/1), Eligible (11/1), Tommy G (11/1), Three Saints Bay (14/1), Glengarry (18/1), Praise Of Shadows (50/1)

With TOMMY G's latest couple of efforts easily excused, Jim Goldie's charge gets the vote to bounce back and notch a fifth victory of a fruitful campaign. Amie Waugh takes off a valuable 5 lb and he looks set to go close. Iris Dancer found herself a bit too far back at York last month so she could provide the main danger, ahead of Distinction and Diamond Haze.
