£45,000 4-y-o, Yeats gelding. Closely related to hurdler/fair chaser Urbanist. Dam, 2m hurdle winner, also 1¼m winner on Flat. Placed both starts in Irish points, latest Nov 2020. Market should guide.

Irish point winner who showed fair form on 2 of his 3 starts in bumpers earlier this year. Below best at Warwick final start in March, albeit not knocked about and he may well have strengthened up.

Malinas gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/very smart chaser (stays 2¾m) Master Tommytucker. Probably best watched on debut with yard 0-5 in bumpers in last 5 seasons.

€85,000 purchase who shaped like a stayer when fourth on debut at Newcastle (16.2f) in December. Not in same form in a C&D event in March though, and longer trips/over hurdles may suit ideally.

Multiplex brother to bumper winner Jac Brown. Shaped much better than distance beaten suggests when sixth behind Timeforatune at Ffos Las in May, threatening 2f out before weakening. Likely improver.

€40,000 3-y-o, Diamond Boy gelding. Dam, French maiden jumper, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 2¾m) Harapour. One to note on debut particularly if strong in the betting.

€25,000 3-y-o, Westerner gelding. Dam, 3m chase winner, sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 33f) Emperor's Choice. Market should guide with yard also saddling Champagne Mesdames.

Forecasts

Timeforatune (4/6), Great Heart'Jac (4/1), Champagne Mesdames (11/1), West Orchard (14/1), Marty Time (16/1), Just Deegeeteebee (16/1), Airtothethrone (20/1), Meechlands Magic (22/1)

Verdict

TIMEFORATUNE was impressive when making his sole start for Brian Eckley a winning one at Ffos Las in May and, having changed hands for £175,000 thereafter, is fancied to make it 2-2 on debut for Paul Nicholls. Meechlands Magic shaped better than the distance beaten behind the selection at Ffos Las and is likely to improve, while Great Heart'jac can also feature.

  1. TIMEFORATUNE
  2. MEECHLANDS MAGIC
  3. GREAT HEART'JAC (FR)
