Showed modest form in bumpers/maiden hurdles in Ireland and similar level completed starts for new yard. Tongue tie back on for reappearance.
Point winner with some scope and made a promising start over hurdles when fourth in a Cartmel maiden (17.2f) in July. Well held at Perth a month later, though.
Won 2 of 3 starts in Irish points and encouraging seventh in novice hurdle at Warwick (2m5f) on NH debut. Not so good at Doncaster but in top hands and down in trip on reappearance.
Only modest form in a couple of bumpers/maiden hurdle and likely to need more time.
Fairly useful on Flat, stays 1¼m, won twice in 2021, back to form last time. Has left Ivan Furtado and possesses the ability to be a factor if taking to hurdling. Usual blinkers off.
Showed ability when third of 8 in a bumper at Catterick on debut in November 2018. Well held over hurdles a year later and off the track even longer this time.
Little promise last season.
£10,000 Fame And Glory gelding. Half-brother to temperamental but fairly useful hurdler/chaser Riverside City. Dam (h125) bumper/2¼m hurdle winner (stayed 2½m). Brushed aside in a bumper in May.
Shirocco gelding who made a winning start in an AW bumper in February. Not disgraced under a penalty next time and solid start over hurdles in recent weeks. Leading claims.
Fairly useful but irresolute maiden on Flat, stays 1¼m, below form last time. In good hands but no banker to take to hurdling.
Modest handicapper on Flat, probably stays 1¼m but signs of temperament on the way and didn't show much on recent hurdles debut.

Forecasts
Punxsutawney Phil (8/13), Cirque Royal (6/4), Doubleubee (9/2), Hector's Here (7/1), Foillan (11/1), Spiritofthenorth (12/1), Dan's Cross (14/1), Argent Et Or (50/1), Scorchin (80/1), Whats The Matter (80/1), Top Attraction (100/1), Chemical Warfare (100/1)
Bumper winner PUNXSUTAWNEY PHIL has made a good start over hurdles and the forecast looks good for him. He looks poised to strike in this maiden, with Hector's Here and Doubleubee probably his biggest dangers.
