Scored on debut at Ayr (6f) in July and showed plenty of pace when midfield in Gimcrack at York on penultimate start. Not in same form in France Group 3 last time but this less demanding.

Won 3 of his first 4 starts, including the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot. Progress has rather levelled off, labouring over 2f out in Flying Childers on his most recent start. Still, this more suitable

Off the mark at Sandown (5f) in June and not disgraced faced with sterner assignments since, fifth in big-field sales' race at York (6f) in August. However, may find a few too good again.

El Kabeir colt who has only run to a modest level on 2 of his 3 starts in novice/maiden company this summer and likely set for a struggle in this field.

Lightly-raced maiden who again ran below his early-season form (on back of being gelded) when seventh of 9 in a C&D nursery 10 days ago. Looks set for another struggle at this higher level.

Useful juvenile (third in Coventry at Royal Ascot) who may not have been well served by high draw when midfield in Ayr listed contest last month. Boasts sound claims on pick of his form and respected.

Modest form in trio of novice/maiden events at 6f to date and she needs to step up considerably if she's to figure up markedly in grade. Cheekpieces again the headgear of choice.

Second in the Super Sprint at Newbury in July and respectable efforts in similar big field events on each of last 2 starts. Worth a crack at 7f on balance but claims of getting involved.

Verdict

VINTAGE CLARETS quickly made up in to a useful juvenile this term, twice successful over 5f prior to finishing a solid third in the Coventry at Royal Ascot in June. Not so well served by a high draw at Ayr on his latest start, he's fancied to be firmly in the mix now. Chipotle will find this easier than recent assignments and is feared, along with Symphony Perfect.

  2. CHIPOTLE
  3. SYMPHONY PERFECT (IRE)
