Promising sort who improved from her debut to win novice at Salisbury (9.9f, soft), then struggled in listed company at Longchamp since. Off 100 days and this is easier, but mark looks a bit harsh.

Three-time winner already this year but positive effect of the visor appeared to be wearing off when he was last of the trio to take part in a Bath handicap 3 weeks ago. Others are more appealing.

Scored at Sandown in August and was back on track when fourth in the mud at the same track recently. Mark looks about right at present, though.

Showed race-by-race progress in trio of maiden/novices for Kevin Ryan and has caught the eye on both handicap outings for current yard. Can get involved if they go a solid gallop.

Had the run of the race when opening her account in 1½m Thirsk novice in May. Better form since, although briefly flashed her tail when a narrow third at Newbury in August. Can't be discounted.

Edged ahead late to record her third success of a busy campaign over C&D 7 days ago. Well drawn and reliable on the whole, so likely to give another good account for all some are less exposed.

Scored at Hamilton in June but hasn't matched that form on either outing since, most disappointing at the same course last time. Needs a visor to perk him up.

Yet to open his account but underlined that he's still going the right way when a staying-on third in a race that wasn't run to suit at Ripon 49 days ago. One to consider under a promising claimer.

Forecasts

Skytree (7/2), Golden Melody (7/2), Rewired (4/1), Two Brothers (6/1), Sunset Memory (6/1), Life On The Rocks (7/1), Pretty Fair (8/1), Commonsensical (12/1), Havana Party (25/1)

Verdict

LIFE ON THE ROCKS hasn't had the race to suit yet since joining Richard Fahey, but it remains the case that he has a bigger effort in him when it all clicks, so a chance is taken on him given the prospect of a sound pace in this open-looking handicap. Two Brothers would also benefit from an end-to-end gallop, and he's feared most ahead of Sunset Memory.
