MOTORIOUS had plenty left in the tank when making a winning handicap debut at Kempton and, with further progress likely, this 8 lb higher mark looks manageable. The one caveat is that he's unproven on tapeta, but it's all positive otherwise where this 3-y-o is concerned. Alphonse Karr put in good late work when third over 6f at Chelmsford recently and he is second choice ahead of Frow.
