Annual Review^t²⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Kielan Woods| T: D Killahena & G McPherson

14/1

Off 5 months (had breathing operation), 16/1, showed more when 2¾ lengths fourth of 13 to Scots Poet at Stratford 25 days ago, led briefly but no extra close home. Needs to step up again to win this.

Form: 69-4

Brod Force One

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Mr J Reddington⁽⁷⁾| T: T Gallagher

40/1

Fracas gelding. Half-brother to a winner on Flat in Greece. Dam unraced. Hard to fancy on paper.

Form:

Turpin Gold²²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: T J O'Brien| T: R Stephens

9/4

Back on track after 9 months off when third in C&D event 22 days ago with Fifrelet in second, travelling best but not seeing things out. Stamina doubts remain for a race like this (Flat-bred).

Form: 35-3

Dee Day Landing²⁵

200/1

125/1, always behind in Stratford bumper on debut last month.

€15,000 3-y-o, Kingston Hill gelding. Half-brother to bumper winner first time up Last Minute Man (stayed 2½m over hurdles). Obvious appeal.

Form:

16/1

Toronado gelding. Half-brother to useful 6f/7f winner Treacherous. Dam unraced half-sister to fair hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 2½m) Woody Waller. One to note on debut.

Forecasts

Fifrelet (13/8), Turpin Gold (9/4), Fine By Me (3/1), Annual Review (14/1), Steve Backshall (16/1), Baby Moonbeam (18/1), Brod Force One (40/1), Dee Day Landing (200/1)

FIFRELET made a pleasing return after 21 months off in a similar event here recently and has good claims if backing that up. Fine By Me and Steve Backshall are a couple of interesting newcomers.
