Offered something to work on when seventh of 16 in novice event at Thirsk (6f, good to firm) on debut 28 days ago, running on without being knocked about. May well do better.
Foaled April 8. Shamardal colt. First foal of a 2-y-o 7f winner, herself half-sister to useful 1¼m-1¾m winner Charles Kingsley. Yard has excellent record with 2-y-o newcomers.
Foaled May 11. €28,000 foal, 45,000 gns yearling, Fast Company gelding. Half-brother to winner up to 1m Isla Kai and 1m winner Hombre Rojo, both useful. Dam French 1m-10.5f winner. Best watched.
Much improved from debut despite still being in need of experience when second at Wolverhampton, pulling clear of rest. Just about sets the standard on that form but it's only a fair one.
Foaled March 24. €33,000 yearling, resold 90,000 gns yearling, Mehmas colt. Half-brother to 6f winner Ola Bonita. Dam lightly-raced half-sister to smart winner up to 1½m Dorcia. One to note.
Modest form when down the field both starts.
Foaled April 10. Iffraaj colt. Half-brother to useful 7f winner Chatham House and 2-y-o 7f winner Exhibit. Dam unraced half-sister to very smart winner up to 1m Aussie Rules. Likely type.
£500,000 2-y-o, Kingman colt. Half-brother to smart winner up to 11.6f Miss Yoda. Travelled well but was green under pressure when eighth of 14 in maiden (10/1) at Newbury (7f, good). Sure to improve.
Showed more than first time up despite greenness again holding him back when third at Newcastle last week, getting the hang of things inside the final furlong. Open to further improvement up in trip.
Big prices when down the field both starts. Probably a long-term project.
Foaled February 15. Iffraaj colt. Half-brother to useful winner up to 7f Tactical. Dam 2-y-o 6f winner. Yard has saddled 7 winning 2-y-o newcomers this season.
Invincible Spirit colt. Brother to useful winner up to 7f Beauty Filly and half-brother to several winners, including smart winner up to 7f Ashadihan. Showed little at Ayr on debut.
Foaled February 11. 30,000 gns foal, £155,000 yearling, Night of Thunder colt. Dam, maiden (stayed 1½m), half-sister to smart winner up to 1¼m Circumvent. Interesting newcomer.
Foaled April 20. Finjaan gelding. Dam maiden. Makes little appeal on paper.
Starspangledbanner gelding who built on debut promise when runner-up at Newmarket 2 weeks ago despite still being keener than ideal. More education is needed if he's to continue to go the right way.
Foaled April 28. $45,000 yearling, £35,000 2-y-o, Tonalist filly. Sister to 2 winners in US. Dam US winning sprinter, also second in Queen Mary. Surprising she makes debut at 7f given speedy pedigree.

Expensive Kingman colt KINGDOM COME showed plenty to work on when mid-field in an above-average maiden at Newbury on debut last month and this Dewhurst/Futurity entrant can find the required improvement. There are some interesting newcomers from big stables on show, headed by Bay of Honour and Kennet.
