Hapipi Go Lucky¹⁸

Age: 2| Weight: 9-10| J: Ben Coen| T: J P Murtagh| OR: 82

9/2

Landed a Fairyhouse maiden (6f) in July. Excuses in stronger company since, out of depth when last of 8 in Group 2 Debutante Stakes at the Curragh (7f) latest. This undoubtedly more suitable.

11/2

Winner on nursery debut at the Curragh (6f) in July. 12/1, seventh of 9 in nursery back at that venue (7f, good) 12 days ago but the handicapper is relinquihsing his grip.

Form: 673167

11/2

Thrice-raced maiden. 12/1, seventh of 13 in maiden at Tipperary (7.5f, good) 13 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Still, fancied to do better now handicapping fitted with a visor.

Form: 487

Que Linda^t¹⁷

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Mikey Sheehy⁽⁵⁾| T: J P O'Brien| OR: 74

9/4

Thrice-raced maiden. Fifth of 15 in maiden (10/1) at Naas (7f, soft) 17 days ago. Has seemingly been brought along with handicaps in mind and another who may well do better.

Form: 955

(7)

Nectarine¹²

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: K J Manning| T: J S Bolger| OR: 72

5/1

Lightly-raced maiden. Good third of 9 in nursery (33/1) at the Curragh (7f, good) 12 days ago, albeit carrying head awkwardly. However, she's not one to write off with a repeat.

Form: 60973

(6)

Dickochea^t¹²

Age: 2| Weight: 8-12| J: J M Sheridan⁽³⁾| T: K J Condon| OR: 70

11/2

Thrice-raced maiden. Not without promise when sixth of 9 in maiden at the Curragh (1m) 12 days ago, shaping third best for most of the way. Interesting now handicapping down at 7f.

Forecasts

Que Linda (9/4), Hapipi Go Lucky (9/2), Nectarine (5/1), Gabbys Girl (5/1), Viareggio (11/2), Dickochea (11/2), Swift One (11/2)

DICKOCHEA has progressed gradually in 3 starts to date, shaping third best for most of the way before the 1m trip seemingly stretched him at the Curragh 12 days ago. The drop to 7f on nursery debut rates a plus and he shades the vote to confirm the promise of that run here. Que Linda promises to do better now handicapping, and along with Nectarine, heads up the dangers.
