11/8

Fairly useful handicapper who got firmly back on track when second at Lingfield 12 days ago. Mark looks fair and this is a drop in grade, so could be worth chancing.

Toussarok¹²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-8| J: S De Sousa| T: C & M Johnston| OR: 82| D

9/2

Two from his last three and showed guts to land a small-field event at Chelmsford 12 days ago. Another bold showing from the front is on the cards.

Age: 5| Weight: 9-7| J: A J Farragher⁽⁵⁾| T: R A Teal| OR: 79| D

14/1

Consistent sort who was already scored 3 times this season and posted another good effort when second to Toussarok at Chelmsford last time. Doesn't run on turf all that much, though.

Touchwood¹⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-3| J: W Buick| T: C Hills| OR: 77| D

7/4

Off the mark at Nottingham in July and followed it with an improved showing when second at Brighton last time, clear of the remainder. Should go well again.

Perfect Match¹⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: Tom Marquand| T: W Muir & C Grassick| OR: 76

18/1

Had one standout effort for Johnny Murtagh last year and first outing (after 10 months off) for new stable was pretty tame, so hard to make a case for.

Forecasts

Additional (11/8), Touchwood (7/4), Toussarok (9/2), Swiss Pride (14/1), Perfect Match (18/1)

ADDITIONAL is on a fair mark and finished second in a slightly better handicap last time, so he gets the marginal vote in a tightly-knit affair. In-form pair Toussarok and Touchwood should give the selection plenty to think about.
