In excellent form when last seen on the track, bagging 20f handicap chase at Worcester (5/2) 102 days ago. Has gone well fresh, so he seems sure to go well again.

Winless since 2019, but not disgraced in cheekpieces when third of 10 in handicap over C&D 16 days ago having been set plenty to do. Not discounted off an easing mark.

Forecasts

Wagner (10/11), Nikap (5/2), Helford River (3/1)

Verdict

WAGNER hasn't been seen since opening his chase account at Worcester in the spring but has gone well fresh and still has few miles on the clock so is fancied to make a winning return. Colin Tizzard's fencing-debutant Helford River could be the one to give him most to do, with Nikap not ruled out either, especially if she is given less to do on this occasion.

  1. WAGNER (IRE)
  2. HELFORD RIVER
  3. NIKAP (FR)
