6/4

Ryan's Party¹⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-1| J: T Eaves| T: K A Ryan| OR: 78| CD

7/4

Career best when winning 8-runner maiden at this C&D (good, 11/4) 15 days ago, leading final 1f with a bit in hand. An opening mark of 78 looks fair, so he's well respected.

Form: 2561

Ninky Nonk¹⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 8-11| J: Callum Rodriguez| T: K Dalgleish| OR: 74

6/1

Below form when ninth of 10 in nursery at Carlisle (5f, good to firm, 6/1) 15 days ago, slowly away. Back up in trip. Dropped 3 lb in the weights so may be able to make of an impact here.

Form: 522549

Final Account¹⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 8-10| J: P Hanagan| T: R A Fahey| OR: 73

12/1

Has shown a fair level of form in his first three outings. However, shaped as if amiss when last of 20 on nursery debut at York (6f, good to firm) 14 days ago so needs to bounce back.

Form: 2550

(2)

Bay Breeze¹⁶

Age: 2| Weight: 8-5| J: D Fentiman| T: T D Easterby| OR: 68

9/1

6/1, ran creditably when 3¼ lengths fourth of 5 to the reopposing I'm A Gambler in nursery at Catterick (6f, good to firm) 16 days ago. Dropped 3 lb so should be closer to that rival here.

Form: 433634

(6)

Lunasa¹⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 8-0| J: J P Sullivan| T: Mrs L Stubbs| OR: 57

40/1

Thrice-raced maiden. 40/1, seventh of 12 in maiden at Carlisle (5.8f, good to firm) 14 days ago. Makes handicap debut. Hard to make a case for from well out of the weights.

Form: 497

Forecasts

I'm A Gambler (6/4), Ryan's Party (7/4), Ninky Nonk (6/1), Bay Breeze (9/1), Final Account (12/1), Lunasa (40/1)

This can go to Mark Johnston's I'M A GAMBLER, who failed to bring up the hat-trick under a penalty in a much deeper nursery than he had previously contested at York a fortnight ago but is taken to regain the winning thread here from his revised mark. Ryan's Party is feared most making his handicap debut having got off the mark over this C&D last month, ahead of Ninky Nonk.
