Cuban Hope⁴⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 10-2| J: M Harley| T: Miss Gay Kelleway| OR: 82

28/1

Developed into a pretty useful performer for Jim Bolger in 2019 but hasn't offered much in a pair of comeback outings for new yard in recent months.

Form: 2010/85

Lucky's Dream⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 9-7| J: W Buick| T: Ian Williams| OR: 73| D

7/1

Scored 3 times earlier this year (including a jumpers bumper). Respectable efforts on turf last twice but suspicion he'll be vulnerable to more progressive types here.

Form: 220445

Harlem Soul²¹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-6| J: F Norton| T: C & M Johnston| OR: 81| D

6/1

Did the job well when off the mark on handicap debut at Ripon (1½m) in June, but limitations seemingly exposed since and needs to raise his game.

Form: 4-31857

(6)

Saligo Bay⁴³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-5| J: Thomas Greatrex⁽³⁾| T: H & R Charlton| OR: 80| D

15/8

Going the right way and did well to get up close home to land a 1½m Newbury handicap 6 weeks ago. Type to go on progressing so firmly in the mix.

Form: 35-5331

Glencora⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 9-4| J: Jonny Peate⁽⁷⁾| T: D R C Elsworth| OR: 70| D

4/1

Scored twice in early summer. Placed 3 times since and shaped as if still in good form (caught too far back) when midfield at Sandown last weekend.

Form: 113327

Bague D'or⁸⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: Andrea Atzeni| T: C F Wall| OR: 77| BF

3/1

Easy winner on Yarmouth return in April. Shaped well when second to a horse who won his next 2 starts at Doncaster (1¼m) in early-June. Off again since but clearly capable when fresh. Leading claims.

Form: 765-12

Forecasts

Saligo Bay (15/8), Bague D'or (3/1), Geremia (3/1), Glencora (4/1), Harlem Soul (6/1), Lucky's Dream (7/1), Cuban Hope (28/1)

BAGUE D'OR shaped like a horse who is still on a good mark when going down only to another progressive type at Doncaster 12 weeks ago and is the one to beat with his pedigree suggesting this longer trip should be within range. Fellow 3-y-os Saligo Bay and Geremia can give him most to think about.
