Fair chaser nowadays who dispelled a couple of non-completions when third in 5-runner Ludlow handicap chase (23.8f) in March. However, absent since and others arrive with more pressing claims.

Cesar Et Rosalie^p,t²⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-11| J: T Scudamore| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 109

11/2

Eased plenty in the weights and finally capitalised when getting on top close home at Bangor (3m) in July. Did well allowing for the steady gallop then and he remains with plenty of handicapping scope

Form: 457-541

Tyrrell's Succes^p⁶²

Age: 10| Weight: 11-5| J: William Marshall⁽⁷⁾| T: N C Kelly| OR: 103

22/1

Irish raider who has gone a long time without success though he did show a bit more than previously this year when fifth of 9 in a C&D handicap in June. Still, not sure to back that up.

Form: U98F-P5

Dee Star^t,v1⁴²

Age: 8| Weight: 10-12| J: William Shanahan⁽⁷⁾| T: G Hanmer| OR: 96| BF| C

7/2

Maiden hunter chase winner here in 2019 and he arrives having finished place back at this venue the last twice, albeit never a threat when third over C&D in July. Visor replaces cheekpieces.

Form: 64U-U23

Breaking The Ice^p³¹

Age: 6| Weight: 10-9| J: D B Hurst⁽⁷⁾| T: G Bewley| OR: 93| CD

3/1

Made a good start over fences from a low base, supplementing breakthrough C&D success at Perth (23.8f) last month, impressing with his strength at the finish. Player from 9 lb higher mark.

Form: 7-05211

Going Mobile^t¹⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 10-8| J: Jonathan England| T: S England| OR: 92

13/2

Ran up to best when runner-up at Market Rasen (21.4f) in June. Pulled up next time but probably best not judged too harshly on his latest run having been set plenty to do. Not entirely dismissed.

Form: 2-362P0

Go On Chez⁴⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 10-5| J: Henry Brooke| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 89WS

2/1

Showed nothing over hurdles yet, on the back of a point win he proved a different proposition when making a winning chase debut at Uttoxeter (3m) in July. Had a wind op since and likely more to come.

Form: 0P22-11

Forecasts

Go On Chez (2/1), Breaking The Ice (3/1), Dee Star (7/2), Cesar Et Rosalie (11/2), Going Mobile (13/2), Scoop The Pot (7/1), Tyrrell's Succes (22/1), Young Turk (40/1)

BREAKING THE ICE has progressed nicely from a low base over fences, landing a C&D event prior to impressing with his strength at the finish when forging clear at Perth late last month. Only a 6-y-o, he may yet have more to offer and is fancied to go well. Fellow last-time-out winners Go On Chez and Cesar Et Rosalie are others expected to be in the shake-up.
