Signs of some ability in 3 outings at the end of last summer. Betting perhaps the best guide to what's expected now handicapping after an absence.
Fair maiden who was unlucky at Chepstow 2 runs back and it was a similar story at this C&D last time, not recover after no room inside final 1f. Cheekpieces on for 1st time and one to keep an eye on.
Lightly-raced maiden who fared no better than on return when last of 8 in handicap (66/1) at Haydock (10.2f, good to firm) 78 days ago. Enough to prove back down in trip.
Pulled clear of the remainder when runner-up on Brighton handicap debut in June but underwhelming both starts since. Bounce back needed.
Stepped up plenty on his reappearance to get off the mark in 8-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f)) 14 days ago. 4 lb rise fair and could have a bit more to offer now stepping up to 7f on turf.
Returned to form from a tumbling mark when second of 7 in handicap at Musselburgh (7.2f, good) last week, sticking to task. Holds obvious claims from same mark.
Lightly-raced maiden who ran poorly when ninth of 12 in handicap at Salisbury (8f, good, 18/1) 15 days ago. Still early days.
Respectable fourth of 13 in handicap at Windsor (8.1f, good to firm, 16/1), suited by way race developed. Off 123 days. First run for yard after leaving Michael Blanshard. Not ruled out.
Little impact in novice events/maiden but will hold more chance now handicapping back up in trip.

Silk Tie (7/2), Wisper (4/1), Luxy Lou (4/1), Julie Johnston (9/2), Bearwith (6/1), South Carolina (8/1), Girl From Ipanema (10/1), Melakaz (25/1), Whatzupwithme (28/1), Ruby Ribbons (33/1)
JULIE JOHNSTON returned to form from a tumbling mark when runner-up at Musselburgh last week and can one better here if producing a similar level of performance. Luxy Lou didn't have luck on her side over C&D last time and remains one to keep an eye on fitted with first-time cheekpieces. Wolverhampton-scorer Silk Tie is also feared on his first try on turf and at this trip.
