Stage Summit^v³⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 11-9| J: James Best| T: Miss J Du Plessis| OR: 102

11/1

Fair handicap hurdler who shaped as if retaining ability in that sphere at Exeter (18.5f) in January but well held all 3 starts since, including over fences. Visor again the headgear of choice.

Form: 3D/44P-6

My Lady Grey^p³⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: Brendan Powell| T: C L Tizzard| OR: 97| CD

6/1

Front-running, dual hurdles winner who was well held making chase debut in a small-field C&D mares' handicap last month. However, too soon to write her off and she may well do better in this sphere.

Form: 37-8263

Arc Of Bubbles^p,t⁶⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 10-6| J: Paul O'Brien⁽³⁾| T: Mrs H R J Nelmes| OR: 85

9/1

Ran best race yet under Rules when 11 lengths second of 7 at Fontwell (21.6f) in May. However, was let down by his jumping when falling in a C&D event next time and others preferred.

Form: 4P76-2F

Dido²³

Age: 11| Weight: 10-6| J: J E Moore| T: Alexandra Dunn| OR: 85| C

5/2

Cashed in on a career-low mark in 7-runner handicap here (21f) 11 days ago, driven out to repel Regaby. Not in same form under a penalty at Stratford next time, though. Return to this venue may help.

Form: P00-619

Regaby^p,t²³

Age: 6| Weight: 10-0| J: T Scudamore| T: Ian Williams| OR: 79

9/4

Fitted with cheekpieces/tongue tie and best effort yet when second to Dido over 21f here in July. Like that rival, he wasn't in the same form at Stratford next time but it remains early days at least.

Form: 7-2F325

Non-Runners

No No Maestro²⁹

Weight: 11-12| Age: 6

Forecasts

No No Maestro (13/8), Regaby (9/4), Dido (5/2), Mister Tickle (4/1), My Lady Grey (6/1), Arc Of Bubbles (9/1), Stage Summit (11/1)

A trappy finale but NO NO MAESTRO is proving consistent over fences, deservedly off the mark at Uttoxeter (3m) last month, his jumping looking sound in the main, and he could be the way to go once more. Dido and My Lady Grey head up the dangers.
