Useful filly who ended last season with success at listed level (at 1¼m) and dispelled reappearance effort when fourth in Group 3 Give Thanks Stakes (1½m) 12 days ago, staying on. One to consider.

Low-mileage filly who quickly dispelled a poor reappearance run when third under top weight on handicap bow at Salisbury (12f) last week. Possible she will have more to offer at this sort of trip.

Built up a fine strike rate from low base in handicaps, adding fifth career success to the tally at Haydock (11.6f) 2 weeks ago, noticeably just doing enough in front. This does require more, though.

Highly tried at 2 yrs and confirmed she'd trained on when winning Cheshire Oaks (11.3f) in May. Efforts a shade underwhelming either side of her fifth in Ribblesdale but she can't be ruled out.

Much improved equipped with a hood this year, making it 2 wins from 3 starts when landing another small-field Newmarket handicap (10f) 2 weeks ago. That may not prove her limit but this much deeper.

7f novice winner at 2 yrs who finished a creditable fifth in Musidora and stayed on to take third in listed Glasgow Stakes (11f) at Hamilton in July. Feasible to think she has a bigger effort in her.

Frankel filly who has progressed with each start to date, improving in line with the longer trip when bolting up in a Kempton novice (12f) 2 weeks ago. Well worth her place at this higher level.

Amma Grace (4/1), Portfolio (5/1), Dubai Fountain (11/2), Abstinence (7/1), Pennymoor (8/1), Domino Darling (10/1), Forbearance (12/1), Brunnera (18/1), Goldie Hawk (22/1), Vesela (25/1), Cabaletta (28/1), Glenartney (40/1)

Verdict

This is very competitive, and it may pay to side with Dermot Weld's AMMA GRACE. A listed winner on her final outing last term, she dispelled her reappearance effort in May when staying on for fourth in the Group 3 Give Thanks at Cork recently and there's likely more to come at this sort of trip. Abstinence and Dubai Fountain head up the dangers, along with impressive Kempton scorer Pennymoor.
