Very progressive, easily winning his maiden before taking step up in class in his stride when following up in Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot. Drop back in trip shouldn’t be an issue but has 3 lb penalty.

Looked a top-class prospect when winning both his starts at 2 yrs. Shaped encouragingly on return when strong-finishing third in Dante here but ran poorly in Irish Derby since. Worth another chance.
Made a winning debut at Newbury sole 2-y-o start and useful placed efforts both outings this season, albeit beaten almost 7 lengths when third in Lingfield Derby Trial. Plenty to find at this level.
Won novice at Cork at 2 and all the better for return when taking listed race at Navan. Improved again when second in Gordon Stakes at Goodwood, staying on strongly. Headgear added and more to come.
Steady progress in defeat since winning his maiden, setting the pace in first-time headgear when fourth in Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp last time. Bit to find with the principals.
Improved again when winning Lingfield Derby Trial, beating subsequent Derby/King George hero Adayar. Not disgraced at Epsom himself and at Goodwood (though has ground to make up with Sir Lucan).
Progressive sort who boasts some strong form this year and comfortably won the Bahrain Trophy at Newmarket. Far too keen in Gordon Stakes at Goodwood since but capable of making a big impact. Hooded.
Took another big step forward when winning the Chester Vase in good style in the mud but limitations rather exposed in Derby and Gordon Stakes since. Others have more potential.

HIGH DEFINITION clearly didn’t give his running in the Irish Derby but he looked potentially high class as a 2-y-o and shaped well when third in the Dante at this course on return, so is worth another chance over a trip that will suit. His stablemate Sir Lucan is a colt on the upgrade and rates a big threat, while Charlie Appleby also holds a strong hand with Kemari and Yibir.
