Not the force of old but he did finish second over C&D in June and he's been given a bit of a chance by the handicapper (dropped 3 lb) after a lesser run at Ripon last time.

Won first 2 starts (C&D latterly) and confirmed he's useful when fourth in 11f Hamilton listed in July. Dropped away tamely in Glorious Goodwood handicap last time but this a bit easier. Blinkers on.

AW novice winner on final 2-y-o start and found some improvement when nailing a fellow 3-y-o on the line at Nottingham (1¼m) last month. Nudged up just 1 lb and couldn't rule out further progress.

Progressive 3-y-o who made it 3-3 in handicaps when seeing off 4 rivals at Yarmouth (11.5f, good to firm) 39 days ago. Likely there's more to come so a further 5 lb rise may not stop him.
