Two AW wins in February but not so good on turf since. Mark on the slide as a result but others are still preferred.

C&D winner. Also third here last month and perhaps found the run coming a bit soon when only fifth at Doncaster 3 days later. Each-way claims at venue which appears to suit.

Forecasts

Burscough (5/2), Tom's Reign Beau (7/2), Big Thanks (9/2), Albegone (11/2), Secret Eagle (6/1), Global Response (13/2), Taylored (7/1), Symbol of Hope (9/1), Jacattack (10/1)

Verdict

BURSCOUGH pulled 3 lengths clear of the third when runner-up at Ripon last time so the handicapper may have been generous in leaving him on the same mark. The selection's stablemate Secret Eagle took a step back in the right direction at Pontefract last time so he could be the one to give him most to do ahead of Tom's Reign Beau, who has a win and a third to show from his 2 previous visits here.

  1. BURSCOUGH
  2. SECRET EAGLE
  3. TOM'S REIGN BEAU
