Forecasts

Winterwatch (5/2), Grand Scheme (3/1), Folly Beach (16/5), Epic Pass (11/2), Eton Blue (9/1), Red Glory (12/1), Henry The Fifth (28/1)

Verdict

A competitive staying handicap to open the card. GRAND SCHEME has yet to race beyond 10f but shaped as though this test would suit at Newmarket back in June and he's a half brother to a 16.5f winner. He's chanced to improve for the longer trip and strike. Epic Pass ran well on his first start for this yard and has to be taken seriously. Winterwatch is far from out of it either on handicap debut.
