Very smart veteran who's a credit to connections, looking better than ever when winning Group 3 and listed event at Sandown this season. Sure to be in the mix again despite a 3 lb penalty.
Really smart at his best, second in the Hardwicke at Royal Ascot in 2020, and finally back to that level when ready winner of Old Newton Cup at Haydock 4 weeks ago. Player on that form.
Back on track when making winning start for David O'Meara in 1¾m Group 3 at York last summer. Not disgraced in Goodwood/Lonsdale/Doncaster Cup after, but this trip short enough after 10 months off.
Winless since landing a conditions' event in 2019 but proving consistent this term, albeit typically carrying head awkwardly. Likely to come up short again.
Smart gelding who has won 3 times in a busy campaign this year, including listed race at Newmarket last month. Another solid effort when runner-up in a Group 3 at York since so not taken lightly.
Smart and consistent in 2020, winning this race. However, not quite at that level so far this season and this looks a stronger renewal. Change of headgear.
Missed whole of last season and efforts in Dubai earlier this year were poor. However, firmly back on track when scoring in good style at Lingfield and Ascot, showing smart form. Must be respected.
Promising sort who completed hat-trick in handicap at Haydock and smart form in defeat next 2 starts, including when second in Group 3 at Newbury on return. Excuses at Ascot since but more required.

Passion And Glory (2/1), Mogul (3/1), Outbox (5/1), Euchen Glen (11/2), Without A Fight (7/1), Alounak (8/1), Pablo Escobarr (17/2), Eagles By Day (14/1), Fox Tal (25/1)
MOGUL probably wouldn't be helped by too much further rain, but he came good when winning the Gordon Stakes at this meeting last year before going on to win at the highest level in France and Hong Kong, so is the one to beat back down in class. The progressive Passion And Glory and the admirable Euchen Glen head the dangers.
