11/1, seventh of 11 in handicap at Haydock (6f, good) 11 days ago, unsuited by drop in trip. Back up to 7f now but others remain more persuasive.
Latest win at Newcastle in June but below form fourth of 12 in handicap at Chester (7f, soft) 18 days ago. Needs to bounce back.
Thirteen runs since last win in 2019, and last of 8 in handicap (11/1) at Epsom (7f, good to soft) 19 days ago. Visor on for 1st time with work to do.
Turned in one of his better efforts when second of 13 in handicap (14/1) at this C&D (good to soft) 14 days ago. Others appeal more, though.
3-time C&D winner who had been in good form until poorly drawn when tenth of 13 in handicap over C&D 14 days ago. Usual cheekpieces are back on now, and he's weighted to go close.
40/1, took a step back in the right direction when seventh of 8 in handicap at Haydock (8f, good) 11 days ago, doing too much too soon. Shortlisted.
Southwell novice winner before better effort when third in 1m minor event there later in March when not ideally placed. Back after a break for his handicap debut and open to improvement.
Latest win at Carlisle in June and posted creditable third of 11 in handicap at Ayr (7.2f, good to firm) 8 days ago, ridden too aggressively. Course winner and merits consideration.
Eleven runs since last win in 2019, and only eighth of 9 in handicap at Haydock (6f, good) 11 days ago. Cheekpieces go back on now and plenty more is needed.
Thirty runs since last win in 2017. Only eighth of 12 in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 8 days ago so she's easily opposed from 5 lb out of the handicap.

Forecasts
Langholm (2/1), Harvest Day (4/1), Proud Archi (13/2), Medicine Jack (15/2), Confrontational (8/1), Los Camachos (11/1), King Of Tonga (12/1), Prince Ali (25/1), Motarajel (33/1), Groupie (33/1)
PROUD ARCHI can already boast three C&D victories and is fancied to bag a fourth now he figures on a good mark and has shown clear signs of a resurgence of late. Langholm arrives in good nick and rates the chief threat, especially if ridden less aggressively than when third at Ayr last time. Handicap debutant Prince Ali is not without interest too on his return from a break.
