Landed a listed race at Sandown (3m) in November but ended time with Nicky Henderson below form and, having changed hands for £62,000 he was well beaten here last month. Switched back to timber now.
Dual hurdle winner during 2018/19 campaign but lightly raced and patchy form since, albeit not disgraced over hurdles at Leopardstown in December. Has since switched yards and likely best watched.
Boasts a fine record at Hexham (4 of his 5 career victories coming around there). Hasn't been disgraced in a couple of starts this season and application of blinkers may put an extra edge on him now.
Ran up to best when fifth in 9-runner Cartmel handicap (25.4f) in May and shaped better than bare result over C&D last time, headway when forced wide straight. Handicapper has afforded him a chance.
Scored at Newton Abbot (26.5f) last September abut struggling for form more recently, bad mistake 4 out and struggling after when tenth in a C&D handicap recently. Needs to bounce back. Cheekpieces on
Two hurdle wins at Market Rasen during summer of 2019. Confined to just 2 starts last summer (well beaten on both) but returns with yard in good order and on a handy mark on pick of his form.
Dual handicap hurdle winner here (20f) and Exeter last autumn but not in same form in trio of starts this term. Testing ground may have caught him out last time and he's 4 lb below last winning mark.

Forecasts
Pinnacle Peak (8/13), Ballon Onabudget (5/2), Glinger Flame (7/2), Espalion (7/2), Justatenner (9/2), The Sweeney (7/1), Pym (14/1), Dolciano Dici (33/1), Daybreak Boy (66/1)
PINNACLE PEAK has proved to be a revelation for the fitting of cheekpieces, completing the hat-trick hard held over shorter at Southwell 12 days ago. The handicapper has reacted, but in a race where plenty have something to prove, he may well be up to defying the rise and landing the 4-timer. Justatenner may present some each-way value, along with the returning The Sweeney.
