Kept really busy in 2021, scoring at Newmarket (1m) in April. Generally held form since and not on a bad mark nowadays. Back down in class.
Emerged from a lull to win 2 of last 3 starts, prevailing in a head bobbing finish after a sustained battle at Wolverhampton 5 days ago. Not an obvious one to defy a penalty.
Three wins around 1m last year but last 3 starts have been below par, including back on turf latest. Off 72 days.
Winner over 7f here on return in April but below form all 4 starts since, tried in a visor latest.
Scored 3 times this year and ran right up to his best when second in handicap at Ayr (10f, good) 13 days ago, conceding first run. Not taken lightly back down in trip.
Completed an Ayr hat-trick in May/June. Another decent effort when second of 10 in handicap at Ayr (8f, good to firm) 6 days ago, never nearer. Should give another good account.
Improving 3-y-o who came from off the pace to score at Carlisle last month. May do better still after just 5 career starts so high on the shortlist.
Likeable type but below par last 2 starts, including back over hurdles last week. Tongue strap back on and unlikely to be down for long.
Still to win a handicap and a lack of heart could be the reason why, hanging badly left from 2f out when second of 3 in handicap at Chepstow (10f, good to firm) 10 days ago.

Forecasts
Noble Crusade (4/1), Six Strings (9/2), Asdaa (9/2), Overwrite (6/1), Detective (6/1), Tommy G (13/2), Silvestris (7/1), Yoshimi (14/1), Jackhammer (16/1), Silver Dust (28/1)
NOBLE CRUSADE is an improving 3-y-o who did well to come from off the pace to win at Carlisle last month and is narrowly preferred to the thriving Detective, who is a low-mileage 5-y-o who had more in hand than the bare margin suggests at Carlisle last time. Top-weight Overwrite could get the run of things back down in class and is another to consider.
