It's now fifteen runs since his last win in 2019 but he arrives in very good order, fourth of 19 in 1m handicap at York a week ago. Merits serious consideration in first-time cheekpieces.
Fair 6f-1m winner at his best but he has failed to beat a rival after 12 months off on both his starts this summer, tried blinkered on latter occasion. Has questions to answer now.
Has steadily come to hand this term, and he ran on well for second in 1m handicap at Newcastle 22 days ago. Not ruled out nudged up just 1 lb.
Course winner who shaped as if in need of run after 7 months off when fading sixth of 9 in 1m handicap (33/1) at Pontefract in May. Cheekpieces back on now, and no forlorn hope.
Yet to get her head in front, but she arrives on the back of two good fifth placings in 1m2f handicaps at Newcastle and Nottingham. Ought to be competitive again.
Dual 1m winner last summer who got back on track in first-time cheekpieces when third in 1m handicap at Carlisle 32 days ago. Firmly in the picture eased 1 lb in the weights now.
Yet to register a victory but he ended 2020 in decent nick, fifth in 7f Newcastle handicap just after Christmas. Can't be discounted if he's primed after a six-month absence.
It's now 43 runs since his last win back in 2017, but he's been performing respectably in handicaps of late. Plenty more is needed from 6 lb out of the handicap here, however.

Forecasts
Irv (6/4), Lexington Warfare (3/1), Little Ted (9/2), Aoife's Joy (5/1), Captain Corelli (22/1), Mustaqbal (28/1), Los Camachos (40/1), Rock Warbler (40/1)
IRV arrives in excellent nick and is fancied to end a losing run with the fitting of cheekpieces expected to eke out a bit more improvement. Little Ted showed the benefit of new headgear when third at Carlisle last time and is feared most with both Aoife's Joy and Lexington Warfare in the mix too in a tight-knit handicap.
