Dual winner on soft ground at 2 and took advantage of a further 3 lb drop in the weights to get off the mark for the season on firmer ground than previously at Redcar a fortnight ago. Should go well.

Sir Titus³³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-3| J: G Lee| T: B Smart| OR: 79| D

2/1

Won novice at Newcastle (5f) in January and showed good battling qualities to make a winning handicap/turf debut at Redcar just over a month ago. More to come so he rates a leading player.

13/2

Little impact on first 3 starts this season but took a big step back in the right direction when third of 6 in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) a fortnight ago. Needs to build on that but can.

Form: 60-0073

Forecasts

Sir Titus (2/1), Imperium Blue (4/1), Lost My Sock (4/1), Ey Up It's Maggie (4/1), Country Carnival (13/2), Water Of Leith (15/2), Miss Nay Never (17/2), Ballintoy Harbour (10/1), Ready Freddie Go (12/1)

SIR TITUS has taken his form up a notch this year, and having made a winning handicap/turf debut at Redcar just over a month ago, is taken to complete the hat-trick here with further improvement on the cards. Imperium Blue put up a career-best effort when scoring at Redcar a fortnight ago so he's feared most if able to build on that, ahead of David O'Meara's Country Carnival.
