Offered little for Roger Fell last year but his mark reflects that and he ran his best race for present stable here in June. Losing run tempers enthusiasm, though.
Landed pair of Ayr handicaps (7.2f) last term and dispelled host of lesser efforts when resuming winning ways at Beverley (7.4f) 10 days ago in first-time cheekpieces. Claims if headgear works again.
Made a good start to the campaign, runner-up on AW prior to scoring in good style at Ayr (7.2f) 4 weeks ago. Possibly made effort a shade early when sixth at Thirsk since but mark does demand more.
Maiden who has been shaping up well in recent months, finding only an improving sort too strong at Yarmouth (7f) in May. No surprise to see him go well again partnered by Oisin Murphy.
Losing run stretches back to his 3-y-o days but operating from a handy mark and not disgraced when midfield in 7f Chester handicap last week. However, he's not looking entirely straightforward.
Winner at Brighton in April but proved disappointing on each of his last 2 starts, carrying head awkwardly when fifth of 11 over 7f at Doncaster 19 days ago. May benefit from more severe headgear.
Fair filly who made it first time lucky for new yard when landing a Redcar claimer (7f) 2 weeks ago, just holding on. Understandably has more on her plate back in a handicap now.
Back-to-back winner of handicaps at around 1m in 2019. Missed last year and likely his first start for 21 months/yard debut was needed at Chester 3 weeks ago. This promises to reveal more.
Consistent maiden who has hit the frame all 3 starts this campaign, albeit failing to justify strong market support when fourth at Redcar (5f) 2 weeks ago. Not one to write off back up in trip.
Eased in the weights and capitalised to double career tally at Wolverhampton (7f) 2 starts back. Not in same form back there 11 days ago but not ruled out back on turf.
Off the mark at second attempt for this yard at Wolverhampton (7f) in November prior to pair of placed efforts. However, disappointed thereafter, including on return from a break at Chepstow in June.

A wide-open 7f handicap to unravel with the narrow vote in favour of CRANTOCK BAY. George Scott's 5-y-o remains a maiden but he's gone close to bucking that trend of late, finding only an improving sort too strong at Yarmouth in May. His mark looks workable and he can come out on top, possibly at the chief expense of Ugo Gregory and Jet Set Go. Musahaba is also worth keeping an eye on.
