Sketchy jumper of fences but has managed to make the frame on his past 4 starts. Back from 143 days off now but not discounted.
Gained breakthrough chase success at Doncaster (3m) in February and in good nick until turning in lack-lustre effort at Aintree 20 days ago. Cheekpieces back on with a bit to prove.
Tends to peak during the summer and he got back to winning ways in 10-runner handicap chase at Worcester (23f, good) 26 days ago. Strong at the finish there so big player despite 5 lb rise.
Fairly useful winning chaser who returned from 8 month off with good fourth of 8 in handicap chase at Kelso (26.2f, good) 32 days ago, faring best of those held up. Not taken lightly.
Irish raider who is now nineteen runs since his last win in 2018. Ran moody race when third of 4 in handicap chase over C&D 12 days ago so others are preferred.
Veteran chaser isn't the force of old but he posted respectable fourth of 11 in handicap chase at Market Rasen (23.9f) 55 days ago. Others still make more appeal for all he's sliding down the weights.
C&D winner who got back on track when second of 4 in handicap chase back here 12 days ago. Ought to be competitive again.
Capable on his day and can also boast a C&D victory but plenty to prove at present on back of a couple of poor efforts. Blinkers replace visor now.
Scored over hurdles at Musselburgh in December but not at his best since, including over fences. C&D winner but he needs more.

Forecasts
As You Like (5/2), Get Out The Gate (3/1), Amalfi Doug (9/2), Ocean Cove (7/1), Elmono (10/1), Fingerontheswitch (14/1), Red Giant (18/1), Cuneo (18/1), Looksnowtlikebrian (20/1)
AS YOU LIKE goes very well at this time of year and is fancied to defy a 5 lb rise and follow up his recent Worcester victory. Elmono returned from an absence with a good fourth at Kelso and rates the chief threat, with Amalfi Doug appealing as the pick of the remainder.
