Beaten favourite both starts but he's run to a fairly useful level and his debut second to Go Bears Go (won Group 2 in Ireland at the weekend) looks very good now. Has been gelded and big shout.

Foaled February 5. £55,000 yearling, Wootton Bassett colt. Brother to 1½m winner Kalani and half-brother to 11f-13.5f winner Trawangane, both in France. Newcomer to note.
Showed improved form from his debut despite the odd hint of lingering greenness when second at Ripon (5f) and clearly has a race in him. Cheekpieces tried.
From a good family and ran to a fair level on debut at Lingfield (6f, AW) a fortnight ago. Should be sharper for the run and can improve.
Foaled February 9. 200,000 gns yearling. Half-brother to several winners, including useful winner up to 7f Bloody Love and 2-y-o 6f winner Lady Desire. Dam Japanese 7f winner. Appealing newcomer.
Foaled April 8. €150,000 foal, 38,000 gns 2-y-o, Ribchester colt. Dam once-raced sister to smart 1¼m-1½m winner Venus de Milo. Kingscote on He's A Gentleman but still interesting on debut.
Foaled March 12. 32,000 gns foal, £25,000 yearling, 110,000 gns 2-y-o. Closely related to 7f winner Virgo Rising. Dam, 9f winner, half-sister to smart winner up to 1¼m Sparkling Beam.
Floundered in the mud on debut but proved a different proposition on firmer ground when third at Redcar (6f) 12 days ago. Could do even better.
Promise on debut at Hamilton behind a useful prospect but didn't see things out at Beverley a fortnight on. This extra furlong should suit and he could yet do better.
Foaled April 18. 27,000 gns foal, £35,000 yearling, Starspangledbanner colt. Half-brother to useful 5f winner Wonderwork. Dam, 2-y-o 5f winner, half-sister to smart winner up to 8.6f Party Boss.
