Once-raced maiden. Seventh of 8 in minor event (50/1) at Redcar (10f, good) on debut 12 days ago. Down in trip and probably more one for handicaps further down the line.
Twice-raced maiden. Last of 7 in maiden at Ripon (6f, good to firm, 100/1) 14 days ago, doing too much too soon. Significantly up in trip.
Twice-raced maiden. 66/1, ninth of 13 in minor event at this C&D (good to firm) 15 days ago. Another who may be seen in a better light when going down the handicap route.
Cannock Chase gelding. Dam, of little account, half-sister to high-class 5f/6f winner Reverence out of useful 2-y-o 5f/5.3f winner Imperial Bailiwick. Probably best watched on debut.
£8,000 yearling, Pride of Dubai gelding. Entitled to come on for the run.
Highly promising sort. 10/1, second of 12 in maiden at Carlisle (9f, soft) on debut 34 days ago, very slowly away. Should do much better and ought to pick up a race before long.
Modest gelding. First run since leaving Jo Hughes when eighth of 9 in minor event (66/1) at Chester (7.6f, soft) on UK debut 4 days ago. Readily passed over.
Twice-raced maiden. 200/1, last of 9 in minor event at York (7f, soft). Off 8 months and huge step forward needed here.
Twice-raced maiden. Sixth of 8 in maiden (6/1) at Carlisle (6.9f, heavy) 44 days ago. He's another for whom handicaps may provide better opportunities in due course.
Promising individual. 4/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, good second of 6 in handicap at Doncaster (8f, firm) 17 days ago. Sets a solid standard and may well go one better here.
40,000 gns foal, 14,000 gns yearling, Shalaa filly. Dam unraced sister to smart 2-y-o 6f/7f winner Cursory Glance. Not devoid of appeal on paper, but yard seldom hits the target with newcomers.
75,000 gns yearling. Half-sister to 3 winners, including smart 11.5f/1½m winner Battalion and winner up to 9.5f Tafish. Yard can ready a newcomer and interesting to see what the market has to say.

Zagato (2/7), Forza Orta (11/4), Yojaari (10/3), Tampa (14/1), Shomoukh (18/1), Cragside (25/1), Regina George (28/1), Cornell (100/1), Wildbeautifulthing (125/1), Big Dutchie (150/1), Grey Matter (200/1), Bellevue Lad (250/1), Heresmax (250/1)
ZAGATO left his inauspicious reappearance run well behind when going close in a Doncaster handicap earlier this month, appearing to benefit from the drop back in trip and fitting of cheekpieces. He remains open to improvement and should go one better here. Forza Orta's Carlisle debut was very promising and he is clear second choice ahead of the penalised Yojaari.
