Verdict

The unbeaten and unexposed RED MIRAGE made an absolute mockery of his opening mark at Kempton earlier this month, winning with more than enough authority to suggest that an 11 lb rise is manageable, for all that this is a tougher race. Oo De Lally is feared on the back of his improved Goodwood effort and Byron's Choice, who looked better than ever last time, is also shortlisted.
