Modest in bumpers/well held over hurdles and made little impact on Flat debut when seventh in maiden at Catterick (12.1f, good to firm, 100/1) 20 days ago. Easy to look elsewhere.

Fair in bumpers but ran below that level sent hurdling when last of 6 in novice hurdle at Perth (16.2f, heavy, 10/1) 6 weeks ago. Others preferred making her Flat debut.

Once-raced colt. Third of 9 in minor event at Wolverhampton (7.2f, 4/1) on debut. Off 6 months. Up in trip. Open to improvement, so can't be ruled out.

Twice-raced gelding who didn't appear to have learnt anything from first time up when ninth of 10 in maiden at Nottingham (8.3f, good, 12/1) 14 days ago, hanging left. Big step forward required.

Cheekpieces on for 1st time, proved to be a disappointment when fifth of 6 on handicap debut at Doncaster (8f, 7/2) 11 days ago, looking awkward. Leading claims if first-time visor does the trick.

Twice-raced filly. 25/1, improved on debut effort when fifth of 10 in minor event at Thirsk (8f, good to firm) 21 days ago, left behind from 2f out. Another step forward needed but that's possible.

Twice-raced filly. Went backwards from debut when seventh of 11 in maiden (15/2) at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) 70 days ago. Significantly up in trip, and that could be what's required.

Forecasts

Jebel Dukhan (11/8), Alfayaath (11/5), Alyara (11/2), Vision Of Victory (6/1), Green Believer (22/1), Neverwrongforlong (25/1), Tristan Da Cunha (40/1), Bella Bluesky (66/1), Platinumcard (80/1), Fairyworld (200/1), Gaolbreaker (250/1), Dark Eclipse (250/1)

Verdict

JEBEL DUKHAN proved to be a disappointment on his handicap/turf debut at Doncaster 11 days ago, mustering only a fifth-placed finish and looking a shade awkward in the process. More severe headgear is reached for and Sir Mark Prescott's colt is worth another chance upped in trip. Vision of Victory possibly needed the run last time so she's feared most, ahead of Alfayaath.

  1. JEBEL DUKHAN (IRE)
  2. VISION OF VICTORY (IRE)
  3. ALFAYAATH (USA)
